Obituary

Lois Gail Glassman (nee Lazarus), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, at the age of 72. She is survived by her beloved husband, Marc Glassman; loving daughters, Stacie Glassman, and Ashley Schiff; caring sister Rozzi Rosenberg; adoring grandchildrenn, Grayson Schiff, and Carter Schiff; and caring nephews, Ryan Rosenberg, and Kerry Rosenberg. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Selwyn Lazarus.

She was an incredible mother and an even more devoted grandmother. Her greatest joy was her two grandsons, whom she cherished endlessly and loved with her whole heart. Being their grandma was one of her proudest roles.

She had a lifelong love for dogs, whose loyalty and companionship brought her constant comfort and happiness.

Creativity was woven into who she was. She had a deep appreciation for design and beauty, and she found joy in creating. She was also an avid reader, always drawn to books that inspired, comforted, or sparked her imagination.

She was raised by wonderful parents and often spoke fondly of her childhood, especially her father, a true Southern gentleman whose values of grace, generosity, and kindness she carried with her throughout her life.

Above all, she had an enormous heart. She was giving, thoughtful, and endlessly kind—always putting others before herself. Her love was quiet but powerful, and it will continue to live on through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Services at Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery, 318 Berrymans Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136, on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Please omit flowers.
