She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Sidney Krengel; cherished grandson, Jordan Luskin; caring brother, Robert Elfman; and dear parents, Dr. Louis Elfman and May Elfman.
Lois was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was at the heart of her life. She shared nearly 62 wonderful years with her beloved husband, Sidney, the love of her life, and their marriage was a lasting example of partnership, devotion, and care. Lois often shared her own recipe for a happy marriage: "take care of each other- when one is down the other is up."
For many years, Lois taught business at Northern High School, dedicating herself to her students and her profession. Outside of the classroom, she enjoyed playing bridge, spending time on the computer, reading, sudoku, bowling, and traveling. Lois lived a full life surrounded by the people and interests she loved, and she will be remembered for the devotion she gave so generously to her family.
