Obituary
Marianne Hiller (nee Silver), of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday September 25, 2026, at the age of 100, with her loving children and their partners at her bedside: Karen Kreisberg (Howard Kleinman), Barbara Schuman (Russ Herman), Joshua (Cindy) Hiller.
She was so proud of her adoring grandchildren, Michael Kreisberg, Kathryn (Joshua) Vogelstein, Zev (Danielle) Schuman-Oliver, Sara Schuman (Duncan Wilson), Eric Hiller, Marc (Danielle)Hiller, Alec (Bethany) Hiller and her 15 cherished great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert I. Hiller, her dear sister, Helen Wepman and by her devoted parents Lillian and Paul Silver.
Marianne was born in Brooklyn on May 8, 1926. She lived to joyfully celebrate her 100th birthday in Boca Raton surrounded by her entire family and many friends. Through the years she became quite adept at making new friends, which anyone who reaches 100 would recognize as a valuable skill. She was a passionate artist, a supporter of social justice issues and an animal rights activist.
