Mark Roger Baron

Mark Roger Baron, born on February 27, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on January 17, 2026, leaving behind a world better than he found it.

Mark was a really special person. He enjoyed spending his time connecting with his nieces with long phone conversations over the years, catching up, talking through problems, or discussing the latest television or funny video, the smallest things in life never went by without notice on his part. In his younger years he loved spending time coaching youth baseball. He was an animal lover, focusing intently on the nature around him during long walks, even watching the squirrels and appreciating their presence. Mark had a long career working at the Social Security Administration for over 35 years. He was also a devoted son, living with and caring for his mother as she aged, and a loyal brother, visiting his sister when she fell ill and needed long-term care. A kind soul that will be missed dearly by those lucky enough to have met him.

Mark is survived by his nieces, Jennifer Medina, Allison Medina, and Lauren Breindel, as well as his brother-in-law, Alex Medina. A graveside service for Mark will be held at Beth Isaac Adath Israel Cemetery on January 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Beth Isaac Adath Israel Cemetery, 2125 North Point Road, Dundalk, MD. His spirit and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Mark was preceded in death by his loving parents, Theodore Baron and Thelma Baron, caring sisters, Joyce Medina and Barbara Breindel, and brother-in-law Harold Breindel.
