Obituary
Martha Shirley Pritzker, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Friday, September 18th, 2026, at the age of 100. She is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey N. Pritzker (Ann Scott), Adrienne I. (Jack) Streeter, Marlene H. (Thomas) Bates; adoring grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Sender, David (Rachel) Pritzker, Jonathan (Iizel) Streeter, Rachel (Joseph) Wittenberg, Natalie Streeter, Jason Bates, Joshua (Jess) Bates, Jared (Brittany) Bates, Charles (Lorena) Lord, and Rebecca Lord; and cherished great grandchildren, Gavin, Noah, Eliana, Ian, Alexandra, Liam, Ariel, Madison, Camille, Nora, Chloe, Jaelyn, Joelle, Jameson, Bentley, and Julia. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Irving Pritzker; dear sister, Sonia Miller; and devoted parents, Rebecca and Harry Weiner.
Martha was a remarkable woman whose vision, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit made her a true pioneer in the printing industry and a trailblazer in Maryland’s business community. As President of Copy Cat Printing, Inc., she helped establish Baltimore’s first quick-copying store, one of the earliest of its kind in the country. Under her leadership, Copy Cat grew into a successful chain of locations, and Martha was a respected leader in the industry. As one of the earliest female business owners in Maryland, she broke barriers and paved the way for future generations of women entrepreneurs. Her accomplishments and dedication left a lasting mark on the printing industry and on the many people whose lives she touched throughout her career.
While Martha was proud of all she accomplished professionally, her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her loved ones and took great pride in the generations that followed. Her family was blessed to have been able to celebrate her remarkable 100th birthday by her side. Her strength, warmth, pioneering spirit, and love for those around her will be remembered and cherished for generations to come.
