Obituary
Rabbi Maishie 'Melvin' Minster, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at the age of 91. He is survived by his loving brother, Menachem 'Mendy' (Susan) Minster, and Rona Peerless; caring nieces and nephews, Rabbi Meir (Aviva) Minster, Batya Minster, and Aviva (Zalman) Goldfarb, and Dr. Michael (Marla) Marin; as well as many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his caring brother-in-law, Melvin Peerless; loving nephew, Allen Peerless; and devoted parents, Samuel and Gertrude Minster.
Services to be held in Israel, at Eretz HaChaim Cemetery in Beit Shemesh on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion Congregation or to Shomrei Emunah Congregation. The family will be in mourning at the late residence beginning at 4pm on Monday evening, continuing through Sunday. Shiva hours are 6-8pm, Mincha Ma'ariv will be at 6:55pm.
