Obituary
Miriam Singer (nee Birns), of Columbia, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at the age of 100. She is survived by her loving children, Toni (Jerome) Carr and Rory (Eileen) Singer; adoring grandchildren, Melissa Carr, Erik (Amy) Carr, Ilana (David) Marcus, Joel (Sara) Singer, and Hillary (Bill) Shafransky; and cherished great-grandchildren, Logan, Rylan, Madison, Jackson, Savannah, and Sophie. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, M. Scott Singer; dear brother, Fred Birns; and loving mother, Eva Rosen.
Services at United Hebrew Cemetery 3901 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227, on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, at 11am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Temple Isaiah, 12200 Scaggsville Road, Fulton, MD 20759. The family will be in mourning at 10727 Autumn Splendor Drive, Columbia, MD 21044 on Thursday beginning at 3pm with a service at 7pm, and on Friday from 1pm until 4pm.
