Naomi Josloff
(aka, Nomila, Fiedgie, Rudy, Toots. Ima, Bubby, Mom)
June 24, 1945 - December 16, 2025

At the age of 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the memory caring facility, Spring Arbor, this past Tuesday, Dec 16th. Leaving behind a life of giving all she could for her family, friends and those in need.

She was born in Israel where, throughout her life, she remained deeply attached to her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Naomi moved to New York with her parents and younger sister, Nurith, when she was 8 years old.

As a typical teenager obsessed with American Bandstand in the 50’s, Naomi ultimately graduated from Jamaica High before meeting her beloved soulmate, husband of 60 years, Stephen Josloff. They moved to Maryland in 1971, where she eventually started her 30+ year career as a computer programmer at NIH. In that time, she attended night school, earning a bachelor’s degree and helped run her and her husband’s doll business, Dollectable Collectables, all while raising a family.

Naomi was known for her magnetic personality, infectious laugh and all-around joy for life.

She was a generous, tireless, kind, warm soul, always willing to sacrifice to make those around her happy. Regardless of your background, demographic or professional status, Naomi always greeted everyone with enthusiasm and respect.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Josloff, son, Evan Josloff (Robyn Cruz), daughter, Laura Stewart (Ronald), sister, Nurith Still, and grandsons, Camden and Bayler Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater Maryland Chapter 502 Washington Avenue, Suite 300, Towson, MD 21204, reflecting Naomi and her family’s great appreciation for what the foundation does to support the families currently inflicted with the disease and to help find a cure.
