Nathan Engle

Nathan Engle, of Owings Mills, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at the age of 80. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sally Engle (nee Siegel); loving children Debbie (Darrin) Levitt, Julye Frankland (Donny Felts); adoring grandchildren, Kelsey Levitt, Kaitlyn Frankland (fiancé Jack Clary), Amanda Levitt; and his loving sister, Deanna Wertz. He was predeceased by his sister, Zelda Engle; and parents, Fannye and Max Engle.

In addition to his immediate family, he leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. Throughout Nathan’s life, he was devoted to education and service, touching the lives of many through his work with Baltimore County Public Schools, Teach for America, Magic Me, and Florence Crittenton Services.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 11:30 am. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Bridging Life Hospice Development Office, 200 Memorial Ave.,Westminster MD 21157. The family will be gathering at Gourmet Girls, 3713 Old Court Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, after interment until 5pm.
