Patrick Proctorstein, of Bowie, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026, at the age of 74. He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Proctorstein (nee Schwartz); beloved children, Adam Proctorstein and Jayme Proctorstein; caring siblings, Conway (Gloria) Proctor, Andre (Anne) Proctor, Barry (Tina) Proctor, Toni Westhall, and Jackie (Eddie) Tremblay. Pat lived a rich and varied life, embracing many different roles and passions along the way. From his early years working alongside his family on their tobacco farm to his accomplishments as a student and athlete, he approached life with curiosity and determination. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War before earning his college degree and pursuing a career as an engineer.
A man of remarkable creativity and diverse interests, Pat was an accomplished artist and craftsman whose talents included watercolor painting, sculpture, watchmaking, guitar building, and bonsai, among many other pursuits. He was always eager to learn, create, and explore something new.
