Philip Howard Bormel

Philip Howard Bormel, of Sykesville, MD, passed away on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at the age of 64. He is survived by his loving mother, Marlene Bormel; devoted siblings, David (Aileen) Bormel, Julie Bormel, and Marc Bormel; cherished niece and nephew, Allison Bormel (Aaron Ament) and Eric (Heather) Bormel; and adored great-nieces and nephew, Lilah Ament, Maya Ament, Miles Bormel and Gemma Bormel. Philip was predeceased by his dear father, Nathan Bormel.

Philip was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle who held his family close to his heart. He was deeply loved and brought joy to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

Services at Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, 430 Berrymans Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136, on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at 2:00pm. Please omit flowers. The family will be receiving following the funeral at Resorts of Augsburg, 6825 Campfield Rd, Baltimore, MD 21207 on Wednesday from 3:15pm until 5pm.
