Philip Jay Charthower

Philip Jay Charthower, of Bowie, MD, passed away on Monday, July 28th, 2025, at the age of 59. He is survived by his mother, Rita Charthower; by his sister, Debra (Louis) Anoff; by his nephews, Joshua (Kate) Anoff and Daniel (Katie) Anoff; and by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kara Anoff, Kristen Olson, Kaleigh Olson, Olivia Anoff, Benjamin Anoff, and Everhett Anoff. He was predeceased by his father, Joel Charthower.

Services at Temple Solel, 2901 Mitchellville Rd Bowie, MD 20716, on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, at 10:30 am. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery - 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, Maryland 20783. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Temple Solel, 2901 Mitchellville Rd, Bowie, MD 20716 or to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122. The family will be in mourning at 1409 Post Lane, Bowie, MD 20716 on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with services at 7pm each evening.
