Obituary
Ramona H. Guth, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at the age of 98. She is survived by her loving sons, Stephen (Carol J.) Guth and Reece Guth (Lisa Gorman); adoring grandchildren, Joseph Guth, Rachel Guth (Rayid Haniff), David Guth, and Dana Guth; and cherished great grandchildren, Remi Haniff and Luca Haniff. She was predeceased by her dear siblings, Herman (Eunice) Haimovitz and Selma Haimovitz; and loving parents, Sylvia and Abraham Haimovitz.
Ramona was a remarkable woman whose strength, determination, and curiosity carried her through a long and deeply fulfilling life. In her forties, at a time when many might have been settled into the path they had already chosen, Ramona began an entirely new professional chapter, pursuing a career in psychology.
She went on to spend 30 years at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, dedicating herself to work that reflected both her intellect and her compassion for others. Ramona continued working well into her eighties, a testament to the purpose she found in her profession and the energy with which she approached life. Her willingness to begin again, keep growing, and remain engaged in meaningful work was just one of the many qualities that made her extraordinary.
Services at United Hebrew Cemetery, 3901 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227, on Monday, August 31st, 2026, at 10:30am. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
