Shirley Lee Layton (Weiner)

Shirley Lee Layton (nee Weiner), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Monday, September 8th, 2025, at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving sons, Stuart (Bonnie) Layton, and Dr. Larry (Jill) Layton; adoring grandchildren, Lauren Layton, Amy (Pat) Valle, Jason (Madeline) Comoglio, Alison (Vince) Filicko, Ryan Layton, Dr. AJ (Anna) Layton, and Bradley (Rebecca) Barshop; loving great grandchildren, Julia, Grant, Greyson, Dylan, Ellis, Reed, Lincoln, and Brooks; and her niece, Debbie Mhoon. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Stanley Layton; caring brother, Melvin (Delores) Weiner; and devoted parents, Michael and Mary Weiner.

Shirley Layton was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and daughter. She will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Services at Arlington Chizuk Amuno Cemetery, 4300 N. Rogers Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215, on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at 12:00 pm. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning immediately following interment on Friday at 9 Latimore Way, Owings Mills, Maryland 21117, and the family will be receiving guests on Sunday evening in Florida at 7420 Monte Verde Lane, West Palm Beach Florida, 33412, on Sunday evening from 4 to 8pm.
