Obituary
Sidy Shirkin, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at the age of 84. She is survived by her children, Michael (Dr. Yelena) Shirkin and Dr. Milla Karev; by her siblings, Meri Lekhner, Klara Bergman, and Alex (Mercedes) Bergman; and by her grandchildren, Phillip Shirkin, Selena Shirkin, Yuri Karev, Alex Karev, and Mark Karev . She was predeceased by her husband, Boris Shirkin; by her son-in-law, Dr. Sergey Karev; by her brother-in-laws, Alek Lekhner and Jim Bergman; and by her parents, Roza and Isaak Bergman.
