Obituary
Stephen Miller, of Rockville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Susan Miller (nee Blacher); loving children, Stacey Mannes (Dan Goldman) and Gregg (Denise) Miller; dear brother, Paul (Cheryl) Miller; and adored grandchildren, Aaron Mannes, Drew Mannes, Madeline Miller and Kolette Miller. Stephen was predeceased by his devoted parents, Vera and Morris Miller.
Stephen was a proud graduate of Boston Latin School before continuing his education at Michigan State University and later earning his law degree from George Washington University. His distinguished career took him from the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., to Interco Inc. in St. Louis, and ultimately to the FDIC in New York City, where he brought dedication and integrity to his work. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Stephen delighted in the things he loved most: his family, evenings at the theater, traveling to new places, and spending summers in the Colorado mountains. He had a particular fondness for pumpernickel bagels, muenster cheese, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox. Stephen was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. May his memory always be a blessing.
