Steven Silberg

The Honorable Steven Silberg of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at the age of 79. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Silberg (nee Schwartz); loving daughter, Elizabeth (Michael) Cohen; adoring siblings, Nancy Silberg and David Silberg; and cherished grandchildren, Justin and Hailey Cohen. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Melvin and Phyllis Silberg.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, at 12 PM. Interment at Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research: PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741. The family will be in mourning at 8 Golden Grass Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117, on Sunday immediately following interment, and on Monday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, with services at 7:00 PM each evening. The family kindly requests that visitors park on the street, not in the driveway.
