Obituary

Susan Geller Noblin, 82, of Longs, South Carolina, passed away on February 28, 2026 after an extended illness. She was born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where at 15 she was confirmed at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. She graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1961 and went on to earn her degree from Goucher College in Baltimore in 1965.

While raising her children, she became an active volunteer in the Baltimore community, including serving on the Women’s Committee of the Medical Eye Bank of Maryland and chairing their annual Eye Ball gala in 1982. She enjoyed her many years employed at McDonough Dental in Owings Mills, Maryland, and the colleagues she worked alongside. An Elvis Presley fan, she took pleasure in collecting memorabilia throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Jac and Frances Geller. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 30 years, Ben Alton Noblin, and his family; her daughter, Judith Sapero Tavill (Dr. Michael Tavill); her son, Matthew Sapero; her grandchildren, Jacob Tavill and Samuel Tavill; and her sisters, Betsy Geller Mielziner (Jon, deceased) and Joan Geller Fien (Jeff), and their extended family.
She will be greatly missed.
