Obituary

Suzanne Louise Dagurt (nee Margolis), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at the age of 87. She is survived by her loving daughter, Paige (Robert) Nathan; adoring grandchildren, Matthew Nathan, Daniel Nathan (Molly Sprout); caring sisters, Amy Greenberg, Ellen (Edward) Frank, loving niece of Erwin and Stephanie Greenberg. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sheldon Gerson Dagurt; caring brother Bryan Margolis, and devoted mom, Helen Margolis, and loving father and step-mom, Max (Horty) Margolis.

Suzanne Dagurt (nee Margolis)— lovingly known as Susie and Sue Sue— lived her life the way she did everything: all in.

Suzanne dedicated her career to development work with the American Heart Association, where she supported the mission through fundraising leadership. She was also active in the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle, contributing her time, energy, and passion to help make a difference in her community.

Suzanne knew how to be a friend and treasured her wide circle of friends, her family, and her grandsons, who lovingly called her “Sue Sue.” She was always making plans and liked to stay busy. Just as she was with her friends, she was all in with her many interests — golf, knitting, book club, playing cards, entertaining, traveling, walking, exercising and dining out. She will be remembered for her energy, warmth, and generosity.

Her life was full, her love was fierce, and her presence will be deeply missed but forever felt.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Interment Beth El Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
