Sylvia Burkom, passed away on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at the age of 98. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Sandra (Jack) Abramowitz and Bonita Robinson; loving grandchildren, Bryce (Drew) Kramer, Rochelle Abramowitz (Jesse Wimert), Corey Robinson (Caity Hall), and Troy (Rachel) Robinson; adored great grandchildren, Brody, Arlo, Mason and Weston. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernard Burkom, dear son-in-law, Randy Robinson; beloved brother, Robert Starr; and loving parents, Ruth and Benjamin Starr.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at 10:30 am. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery - 3901 Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to BridgingLife, BridgingLife Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157. The family will be in mourning at 28 Golden Grass Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117, Tuesday following the burial until 5 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 12-5.
