Tatyana Fishkina

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tatyana Fishkina on October 30, 2026, at the age of 88. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved friend, Tatyana leaves behind a legacy of love and knowledge that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born on June 22, 1938, Tatyana dedicated her life to education, obtaining her Master's Degree and spending many years as a devoted teacher. Her passion for learning was matched only by her enthusiasm for nurturing young minds, shaping the lives of countless students throughout her career.

Tatyana is survived by her loving son, Vadim (Marina) Fishkin, and her daughter, Irina Lande. She will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Anton (Margaret) Lande and Jacob Fishkin, as well as her great-granddaughters, Elise and Maya Lande. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Lev Kaplan, dear sister, Olga, and her beloved parents, Rimma and Isaak Fishkin.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tatyana's life at a funeral service to be held at Sol Levinson's Side Chapel on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

As we gather to pay our respects and reflect on Tatyana's remarkable life, we kindly request that flowers be omitted. In honoring her memory, let us cherish the moments we shared and the lessons she imparted with grace and wisdom. Tatyana's spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives she touched.
